A cute severed head

Tried practicing using illustrator to trace and inkscape to color and shade.  It would be cool if illustrator had a fill bucket like inkscape :/  The illustrator one is just blech.

Also this is part of a whole scene, which I am still working on tracing.  My tablet's pen's battery died so I have to wait til tommorrow to get new one.

Although I also have an alternative story.  She is a tribe warrior in training.  An alien ufo appeared near her village.  The village elder wanted to send stronger, veteran warriors to the UFO but she was hot headed and decided to sneak into the ufo herself and show them she can be just as tough and brave. But as soon as she is spotted in the ufo, one of the aliens shoots a lazer and decapitates her.  Her head bounces on the floor a bit and rolls, stopping with a shocked expression.  She then wakes up finding herself in pieces...literally.  Her head, one hand, one foot and her butt are floating in separate alien jars while the aliens play with her limbless torso.  Her remaining hand, foot and various limbs have been discarded.

Once I finish coloring this I will draw out the final scene.
